Ann Dow NeSmith

Ann Dow NeSmith, 94, of Powhatan, Virginia, passed away January 12, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Kenneth Elbert NeSmith; son, K. Lee NeSmith and granddaughter, Laura NeSmith. She is survived by her daughter, Susie N. Bucher, (Rick); Grandchildren, Megan Bartlett (Josh), Mark NeSmith (Tessa); three great grandchildren, Liam, Hayden, and Ava Bartlett; numerous nieces and nephews; sister, Betty Yates and her caregiver Ginger Guthrie. The family will receive friends Sunday January 14, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home. Services will be held Monday at 3:00 PM in the Hobson's Chapel, where she had been a member for 25 years. Donations may be made to Hobson's Chapel 6483 Old Buckingham Road, Powhatan, VA 23139.
