Anna Jane Morris

Anna Jane Morris, 84, of Powhatan, Virginia, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 7, 2023,where she was surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Cumile Trantham; great-grandson, James Schollaert. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Joseph L. Morris, Jr.; daughter, Patricia Martin (Claude); sons, Jimmy Morris and John Morris (Theresa); grandchildren, Matthew Davenport (Melissa), Patrick Davenport (Nicole), Emily Camerino (Eugene), Joshua Morris (Kerri), Jessica Schollaert (Jacob), Brittany Ridgeway (Drew), Tatyana Martin, Katia Martin; great-grandchildren, McKenna, Macey and Megan Davenport, Joseph and Hadley Davenport, Madison Martin, Elaina, Elliott and Emerson Camerino, Jeremiah and Jonathan Schollaert. She was a wonderful and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who made sure you never went away hungry and always felt loved.
The family requests that donations be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 10, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home. Where a service will be held Saturday, at 11:00 AM.  Interment Powhatan Community Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at bennettbardenfh.com
