Barbara B Challenor

Challenor, Barbara Lee Bickley, 79, of Powhatan, Virginia, was called to her forever home with our Lord on Thursday, June 8, 2017. She is preceded in death by the love of her life for over 60 years husband Linwood Hugh Challenor Sr. She is survived by her sons Linwood Hugh Challenor Jr. (BJ) and Paul Anthony Challenor (Cheryl); grandchildren, Robert Ashby Jefferson (Jennie) and Megan Challenor; great grandchildren, Brent, Gabrielle and Zoey Jefferson, Layla Edmonds and Jordyn Johnson. Barbara was also a Nanny to Christian Wilton Simmers and Ann Somers Wilton Hogg. Special friends Betsy Wilton and Charlotte Bailey. Thanks to "her team" at James River Hospice for their support, comfort and love. Dr. Shakil Khan and Dr. Mark Warner for their unwavering commitment. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 17th from 1 to 2:30 pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan, and where a memorial service will follow at 2:30 pm.
