Beatrice Crabtree Garrett

Beatrice Crabtree Garrett (Known to all as "Mimi") 94, of Powhatan, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, May 23, 2024. She joins her husband Norman W. Garrett, Sr. who passed in 2022. She is survived by her children, Rhonda Garrett Luttkus (Steve), Norman Wesley Garrett, Jr. (Pam); grandchildren, Katelynn Garrett Taylor (Kurt), Norman Wesley Garrett, III; great-grandson, Rowen Taylor.
Bea was an RN at Stuart Circle Hospital. She truly loved taking care of her family, who in turn took care of her. She loved walking in the yard to see what was blooming and going to any sports games the kids were involved in. She will truly be missed.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 28, 2024 in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Highway, Powhatan, VA. from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm where her funeral will be held at 12:30pm Wednesday.
