Bernadine Frances Levine

Bernadine Frances Levine, 74, of Powhatan, VA passed away peacefully from an extended illness on January 26, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Levine, her son Paul Hrip, her parents Karl and Antionette Glashauser, and her sisters, Josephine Glashauser, Mary Ann Sill, Theresa Kuny, and Shirley Moyer. She is survived by her daughter Tina Hall (Chad) of Matoaca, VA, her two beloved grandchildren, Jacob and Megan, her sisters Mitzi Reading, Sophia Delozier, Caroline Stell, and Pauline Balestino, and her sister-in-law Karen Oakes.
Born May 18, 1947 in Coupon, PA, "Bernie" lived a full and warm life filled with joy, kindness, and humility. She stopped working several years ago after serving in the billing department of Surgical Associates for 22 years where she was very close with and thought of highly by her work "family". She loved her grandchildren fiercely and enjoyed spoiling them, spending time with them, and attending their various activities. She could give you a review of every Hallmark movie, loved going out to eat with friends, and never missed using a 30% coupon at Kohl's. She especially enjoyed her frequent phone calls with her sisters and other close friends. She will be forever loved and forever remembered. A memorial service will be held at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Powhatan on Tuesday, February 8 at 4 PM.
