Brenda May Barden Combs, 78, of Powhatan, passed away May 7, 2019. She is survived by her children, Deborah Henshaw (James), Jimmy Barden; sisters, Gloria Blankenship, Anita Priest, Mary Brooks; three grandchildren, Ricky Painter, Melissa Barden, J. Barden and one great grandchild, Camden Painter. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Powhatan Community Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at bennettbardenfh.com
