, 85, of Powhatan, son of the late Bruce & Edith Rush, went to be with the Lord December 13, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette A. Rush; his daughters, Donna Glidewell (Gerald), Nancy Williams (Kirby), Susan Lawson (Dave); grandchildren, Timothy Glidewell (Katherine), Christie Dwyer (Matt), Kelly Comer (Jeremy), Jessica Glidewell, Brandi Lawson all of Powhatan; nine great grandchildren; sisters, Jewell Brown, Joyce Jamerson, Barbara Boley (Paul); step children, Valerie Soety, Robin Thompson, Johnny Soety, Brett Soety and a special friend, Philip Ward. Bruce was a Air Force veteran, Past Grand Master of Powhatan Masonic Lodge 295 with 53 years of masonic service, Past ADG and Commander of American Legion Post 201, 50 year member of Genito Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends Tuesday (today) from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2pm in the Genito Presbyterian Church, 2910 Genito Rd. Powhatan, Va. Interment church cemetery. Online condolences may be made at bennettbardenfh.com
