Buck Jess Taylor

Buck Jess Taylor, age 75, passed away suddenly in his home in Powhatan, Va., Tuesday, October 9, 2018. He was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida. He is Survived by his wife, Karen Painter Taylor; two sons, David Andrew Taylor (Carmen) and Joshua Morgan Taylor (LeAnn); two daughters, Shanna Taylor Rawlyk (Tommy) and Jessica Taylor-Williamson (Mark); sister JoAnn Rosell (David) of St. Petersburg, Florida; sisters and brother-in-law, Sandra Hamilton (Carson) and Sheila Painter, nieces and nephews, Stephen Hamilton, Debbie Gerdes and Steve Ater. He loved and enjoyed his seven grandchildren, Holden, Clark, Zachary, Hayden, Lucy, Eston and Blake. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jess Carl Taylor and Mary Elizabeth Moore Taylor. Buck will always be remembered as a well-dressed man, his renowned neighborhood Pig Roasts and love of old western movies. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 12 to 1 pm at the Woodlake United Methodist Church, 15640 Hampton Park Dr., Chesterfield and where the service will follow at 1:00 pm.
