Catherine Mae Proffitt

Catherine M. Proffitt, 93, of Richmond, went home to Jesus on February 21, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Ethel Frayser, her husband of 66 years Ollie Lee Proffitt, daughter Linda Mason, sister Liz Keller and brother Jimmy Frayser. She is survived by three children, Ronald Proffitt (Donna), Susan Liptak (Terry), Robin Sadak (Dean); nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; her brother Clarence Frayser (Kris) and son-in-law, Phillip Mason. She was a member of Skipwith United Methodist Church since 1961. She loved her Lord Jesus, family and friends. Catherine enjoyed life and spent the last few years at Lakeside Health & Rehabilitation enjoying bingo, visits from family and friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, March 15 at 2 p.m. followed by a reception at Skipwith United Methodist Church, 2211 Skipwith Road, Richmond.
