Charles "Sonny" Lynn Liptrap

Charles "Sonny" Lynn Liptrap, 74, of Powhatan, passed away Friday, January 26, 2024.  he was the son of the late John Paul Liptrap and Elaine Barrett Liptrap; and brother of the late Jean Liptrap King. He is survived by his daughter Yvonne Marie Cooper (Jeff), stepson Cory Nester (Lauren), and grandchildren: Marissa, Sean & Reid Cooper, Caleb, Jacob & Preston Nester. He is also survived by his sister Linda Liptrap Vaughan (Ronald), nieces & nephews: Wayne Vaughan (Debbie), Stephane Vaughan Guajardo (Abel), Jennifer Sherman (Matt), and many friends. Dave and Cindy Spears were special friends.  He attended Manchester High School, served in the Air Force, and retired from Philip Morris.  A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, February 5, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Amelia Veterans Cemetery at 10300 Pridesville Rd.
