Cindy Carroll Ricker, 59, of Powhatan joined her son, Joshua, and her parents, Monroe & Norma Jean Cook, in heaven on November 6, 2024. She is survived by her husband, Milburn “Ricky” Ricker, three children Brandon Ricker, Jason (Samantha Merritt) Ricker, Emily Ricker, three grandchildren Erica, Tabitha, & Carter, and her sister Vickie (Billy) Cook.
Cindy’s pride and joy were being a wife of almost 40 years and a mother to her children. She enjoyed and took pride in watching them become young adults. She always put her loved ones before her own needs and was always excited to hear the sweet voices from her grandchildren. No matter what it was “Maw Maw” was determined to make it better. Daily talks and visits with her sister were always a must to catch up and have a little girl time. Her days were filled with her sweet little dogs, Dolly & Millie.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations be made to Special Olympics. Contributions can be made to SOVA Area 6 c/o Pat Fowler 2412 Georges Rd Powhatan, VA. 23139.
