Clarence E. Nutter, Jr. "CJ", 69, of Powhatan, formerly of Charleston, WV, departed this life March 9, 2013. He dedicated his life to his family and leaves to cherish his memory: his loving and devoted wife of 44 years, Doris; two sons and their families: Brian, Leslie, and Sydney, Brandon, Jennifer, and William; a brother, Thomas; and four sisters: Rebecca, Annetta, Delphia, and Charlotte; many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nellie and Clarence E. Nutter, Sr.; a brother, William; and two sisters: Mary and Shirley. After serving his country in the Air Force, he spent his career with IBM, retiring after 30 years of dedicated service. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday at a family home located at 13200 Carters Garden Dr, Chesterfield, VA 23838. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation, in CJ's name, to the charity of your choice.
