Dale Edwin Lewis Sr.

Dale Edwin Lewis Sr., 81, peacefully went home to his loving father on April 13, 2023 with his family by his side.

Born in Haywood County, NC, to his mother, Mary Elizabeth Wyatt Dalton and father Paul Revele Lewis. Dale spent most of his life in the Hampton Roads area where he met the love of his life, Pat, in 1962. Dale was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife of 59 years, Pat. He spent his life devoted to her and his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Dale loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was an active member at Old Powhatan Baptist Church in Powhatan, VA.

Dale is survived by his daughter, Pam Lewis Hash (John); son, Dale Edwin Lewis Jr. (Angie); daughter, Missy Lewis Martin (Tim), sister, Janice Doherty. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Sarah (Alec), Katie (Michael), Celeste (Chris), Frank, John III (Moya), Claire, Kalynn (Nick), Grace, Anna, and Luke. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Carolyn Fletcher, brother, Noel Lewis and his grandson Bryce Lewis. Dale was also a proud great-grandpa to 14 great-grandchildren.
