David Lee Adams, Sr.

David Lee Adams Sr., 68, of Powhatan, passed away peacefully Friday, March 22, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Hazel Adams; sister, Brenda Bowles; brother, L.C Adams; daughter, Michelle Adams; and baby, Jean Adams. He is survived by his wife, Mary Adams; children, Amanda Adams, Hazel Adams and David Adams Jr. (Melissa); brothers Tim Adams (Robin) and Daniel Adams (Esther); sister Debbie Adams-Morgan; along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and his Full Gospel Church Family. He worked for J W Ferguson Printing Company for over 20 years and was also a small business owner of Adams Well Cleaning. David's passion was for the Lord and sharing his gift of music. He traveled with the Blue Ridge Gospel Travelers, sharing the Gospel for many years, all over Virginia and Tennessee.  He loved camping, hunting, fishing and anything outdoors and even more spending time with his family and church family. The family will receive friends 1 pm to 2 pm Monday, March 25th, 2024 with Celebration of David's Life at 2 pm, at Full Gospel Church, 5410 Old Buckingham Road, Powhatan, Virginia 23139.
