David T. Clark, 77 of Cumberland, Virginia, passed away peacefully in his home July 9, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Kay Clark; daughter, Sherry Clark Brooks (Ryan); son, David Clark; granddaughter, Jules Brooks; siblings, Jack Clark, Robert Clark, Cookie Gills and Frankie Hatcher; as well as many nieces and nephews.
David loved to be outdoors and especially hunting and fishing. He was the owner of Daves Carpet service of Powhatan for over 35 years before he retired.
The family will receive friends Saturday July 13, 2024, from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, where a service will follow at 2:00 PM. Interment Grove Methodist Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at bennettbardenfh.com
