Donald D. Haigh

Don D. Haigh, 74, of Powhatan, Va., formerly of Charlotte, N.C., died on August 21, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Bess Haigh; son, Jeff Haigh (Jodee) of Powhatan; daughters, Angie Smith (Henry) of Short Pump, Susie Haigh of Powhatan; brother, Bill Haigh of Wake Forest, N.C.; granddaughters, Elizabeth and Abby Smith, Caitlin and Madison Haigh. Don was a Professional Engineer with Odell Associates in Charlotte from 1968 to retirement in 1998. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1 to 2 pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan followed with a funeral service at 2pm. Interment Powhatan Community Cemetery.
