Elizabeth "Libby" Hoggard Gregg

Elizabeth Hoggard Gregg (Libby), age 55, of Powhatan, VA passed away early Wednesday morning February 14, 2024. She is survived by her husband, Donnie Gregg, her two daughters, Madison (26) and Ashley, (23) and her stepson Trey (24). Our hearts are broken, but we find comfort knowing that she is no longer suffering in pain, and is reunited with her beloved parents and brother.

Libby had a long journey battling breast cancer. She fought through every surgery, every treatment, every radiation, every chemotherapy without complaining and with a smile on her face. She fought with beauty, grace, and fire. Libby did not let the disease define who she was or control her life. Her goal was to be the best mom and wife she could be, regardless of what she was going through.

Libby was a school teacher for thirty years and she impacted hundreds of lives. This included students, parents, and teachers. She will ever be remembered for her infectious smile and caring for others. Libby's heart is imprinted on several generations, through her loving kindness and compassion.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm on Monday, February 19th 2024, at Passion Community Church, 4480 Anderson Highway, Powhatan, VA. A celebration of life will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, February 20th 2024 at Passion Community Church.
