Elvira W. Brizendine

Elvira W. Brizendine, 88, of Lynchburg, went to be with the Lord on February 24, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, James "Jim" Brizendine; one daughter, Betty Ann Hamlett. She is survived by her daughter, Joan Moore (Ken); sister, Arlene Moore; four grandchildren, Lee Ashby, Brant Moore, Amanda Steptoe and Christy Bomar; eight great grandchildren. She loved her church and always had a fighting spirit of a warrior. She was a sweetheart, everyone that knew her loved her. Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery, 870 Mt. Carmel Road, Charlotte County, VA. With viewing 1 hour prior.
