Evelyn Maxey Whitlock

Evelyn Maxey Whitlock, 92, of Powhatan, widow of Julian M. Whitlock, went to be with the Lord May 22, 2016. She is survived by two sons, Richard Brackett Whitlock (Teresa) of Powhatan, Melvin Maxey Whitlock (Angela) of Nottoway; daughter in law, Diane Whitlock; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son James Madison Whitlock. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2pm in the Powhatan United Methodist Church. Interment Powhatan Community Cemetery.
