Frank R. Jones

Franklin R. Jones, 81, of Amelia, Va, passed away on February 14, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Alma Jones, and his brother, Philip Louis Jones Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Tamara Jones, three sons, Frankie Jones and his wife Anne, Christopher Jones and his wife Leann, and Austin Jones, one daughter, Elise Jones, brother-in-law Tommy Turpin and wife Wendy, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Frank was deeply loved by all who knew him. He was a successful businessman who owned his own business in the Midlothian area for forty-one years. He was an avid fisherman and mechanic, and had a passion for racing his self-built sportscar at Summit Point and Virginia International Raceway.s. In 2017, he was recepient of the highly coveted Paul Newman Sportsmanship Award.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home. Where a service will be held at 2:00 pm. Interment Private.
