Thurston, Jr., Frankie D. "Bubba", 19, of Cumberland, died August 4, 2012. He is survived by his mother, Margaret M. Nuckols, of Cartersville; father, Frankie Thurston (Holly Maxwell) of Cumberland; step-father, Rickey Jackson of Cartersville; brother, Rickey Jackson, Jr., of Cartersville; sister, Jeanie Goodson (Charles) of Cartersville; maternal grandparents, Loretta Strickland and Alonzo Nuckols; paternal grandparents, Clarence Thurston (Margaret), Louise West (Eddie); girlfriend, Bailey Stokes. He was preceded in death by an uncle, Ricky Thurston. The family will receive friends Wednesday (tonight) from 6 to 8 pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.. (Rt. 60), Powhatan.
