George L. White

George L. White, of Powhatan, Virginia, passed away peacefully with his caretaker/Granddaughter, Becky Christian by his side. He was the widower of Mrs. Helen M. White and preceded in death by his sisters, Louise Roach and Catherine Cave. He is survived by his step children, Shirley Ann Wright and Margaret Coleman; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 45 great-great grandchildren. He enjoyed gardening and being outside. The family will receive friends Thursday, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday, May 7th at 1:00 PM. Interment at Greater Victory Church Cemetery.
