Geraldine Ann Hodges

Geraldine (Gerri) A. Hils-Hodges 64 of Powhatan, VA. formerly of Parlin and Jamesburg, NJ passed away on June 22, 2020. Born on Oct 20, 1955 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Norman G. F. Hils and Helen K. Hils. Ms. Hodges was a graduate of Cedar Ridge H.S. class of 1974. Most recently she was employed by First Light Home Care and previously held various positions in banking during her time in NJ. Gerri was a lifelong animal lover and cared deeply for her four legged companions. Her contagious laugh was unmistakable. Gerri is survived by her son's, Timothy Hodges, wife Julie and Granddaughter Zoe of Hamilton, NJ and Christopher Hodges and husband Michael of Bayonne, NJ. Siblings: Gigi Brus and the late Fred Brus of Powhatan, VA., Norman Hils and his wife Denna of Atkins, TX. and Geoff Hils and his wife Pati of Basking Ridge, NJ. Along with various nieces and nephews. A memorial service is planned for the near future.
