Geraldine Qualseth Witt

Geraldine Qualseth Witt, died May 12, 2022 after a brief illness. Born Geraldine Joan Qualseth on December 10, 1923, in Hartford, South Dakota. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Witt, Sr.; son-in-law, Ralph Jones; grandchildren, Keith and Travis; great-granddaughter, Mary Grace; brothers, Harley and Clifford Qualseth; sisters, Evelyn Marquardt, Virginia Heimstra and Jean Elliot. She is survived by her three children, Lummie W. Jones, Thomas R. Witt, Jr. (Margaret), John D. Witt (Mary); four grandchildren, Jennifer, Lisa, Roxy and Rodney; Six great grandchildren, Trey, Camie, Jackie, Samantha, Rodney, Jr. and Alex; two brothers, Donald and Newell Qualseth.
Geraldine was a retired employee of Philip Morris Corporation. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and Golf as hobbies. She was an avid cook, famous for the Holiday meals she would prepare. Having lived almost a full century she had the opportunity to experience a lot of history making events.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 14,2022 at 2:00PM in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Amelia, VA. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite Charity. Condolences can be made at bennettbardenfh.com.
