Gloria June McDaniel

McDaniel, Gloria June, 90, of Powhatan. Departed this life on Friday, October 28, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert A. McDaniel, Jr.; two sons, Joseph W. Handy and Craig S. Masters and one granddaughter. Survived by her children, Judith Fay Simons, June Yvonne Covert, David Russell Austin and Raymond Gerald Quarles. She leaves behind many Grandchildren, Great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4:00 pm and 6-8:00 pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home where a service will be held Friday at 1:30 PM followed by an internment at Dale Memorial Park at 3:00 PM. A Celebration of life will be hosted by the family following the graveside services.
