Granville “Dale” Sill, 55, of Powhatan, Virginia, made the journey to heaven on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Dale was born December 9, 1965 and was preceded by his parents Lovie and Granville Sill. He is survived by his wife, Dawn and his three children. Joseph and his wife Emily and their three children Mason, Logan, and Audrey. Andrew with his partner Heather Cooper and his daughter Elizabeth and her partner Miranda Lockaby. Dale made an everlasting impression on the lives of countless people in his personal and professional life, employed with William T. Cantrell. Dale will always be known as a loving and dedicated husband, Father, PaPaw and a loyal friend. Dale spent his life working hard from a very young age and always accepted friends and family with open arms. Dale was generous with what he had and was not afraid or reluctant to help someone in need. He proudly watched and cheered on Liz as she played sports, enjoyed spending his evenings talking with Andrew, riding dirt bikes and going truck pulling with Joe, and of course became a huge part of his grandchildren’s lives. All three adored their PaPaw and loved it when he called them a “knucklehead”. Dale loved and fiercely protected his loved ones. To be a part of the Sill family meant to be a part of a group that always figured out a way to work through their differences, to laugh every chance they have, and most importantly, love with everything they have. He will be missed by an entire community of loyal friends and loving family. His Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday October 10 at 2p at Bienvenue; 3841 Old Buckingham Road in Powhatan, VA.
