Harvey Lee Townsend, 63, of Powhatan, passed away September 27, 2018 at home surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his wife, Gladys; his children, Shena Townsend, Tammy Condrey, Melissa Cranmer, Marie Simons, Michael Townsend (Brandy); son-in-law, Scott Cline; god son, Nick Troxel; grandchildren, Zachary Townsend, Gracen Tate, Cansadie Townsend, Dylan Townsend, Marissa Freeman; nieces, Lola McFaden (Sean), Cheryl Johnson, Jennifer McIntyre, Emma Phillips (Brain), Amanda Townsend; nephews, Chris Tate (Monica), Robbie Tate, Eddie McIntyre, Jessie Townsend, John Townsend; sisters in law, Marion Tate, Lisa Townsend, Lois Johnson (Danny), Kitty McIntyre (Ralph); brother in law, Gerald Daniel and many close friends. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan and where services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. Interment Full Gospel Church, Powhatan.
