James William "Willie" Hite

James William "Willie" Hite, Sr., 72, of Powhatan, suddenly went to be with the Lord July 20, 2018. He is survived by his best friend and wife of 50 years, Jamie R. Hite, two sons, Willie Hite, Jr.(Toni), Charles R. Hite (Regina) both of Powhatan; two brothers, Emmett Hite, Bobby Goode both of Richmond; seven grandchildren, Jamie, Amber, Jordan, Ashley, Magee, Skyler, Kristi; one great granddaughter, Savannah and his racing family. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan and where services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m..
