Janice Ashley Hagen Mitchell

Janice Hagen Mitchell, 40, of Midlothian, passed away suddenly September 26, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Paul B. Mitchell, Sr., son, Colton Hagen Marz; daughter, Gwendolyn Eva Mitchell; step son, Paul "PJ" Mitchell, Jr.; step daughter, Bonnie B. Mitchell; her parents, Gerald L. and Gwen Hagen, Jr.; brother, David T. Hagen (Crystal); sister, Lori. E. Turner (Ryan); maternal grandmother, Norma F. Lucas; aunts and uncles, Kay & Buddy Stokes, Kenneth & Robyn Hagen, Ronnie & Yvonne Hagen, Donald Hagen, Allan Hagen; nieces and nephews, Sawyer, Fynn, Carlyn, Courtney, Brantley and numerous cousins. We all will miss Janice's smile and her love for her children. Janice graduated from Huguenot Academy in 1993 and from Longwood College in 1997 where she majored in Business Administration. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Highway (Rt.60), Powhatan. Funeral services will be held in May Memorial Baptist Church, Powhatan at 11:00 am Thursday. Interment Muddy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Powhatan. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Janice's memory may be made to the Sanctuary Fund at May Memorial Baptist Church, P. O. Box 56, Powhatan, Va. 23139.
