Jean T. Hall

  Jean T. Hall, 91, of Powhatan, passed away on November 19, 2022.  She was born October 6, 1931 in Halifax, VA.  Jean was the youngest of four children to George Edward and Pattie Rebecca Blanks Tune.  She was a bookkeeper for 40 years at Knabe Motor Company and then Knabe Outdoor Power Equipment.  It's hard to determine her exact retirement date as she announced her retirement three times, enjoying a party after each, before finally retiring around 2012.  Jean will be remembered as a hugger of people and friend to all.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn; her sisters, Alease Solomon and Odell Abbott and her brother, George Tune. Jean leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Bobby Hall and wife, Karen, Johnny Hall, Debbie Ahladas, and Susan Stephens and husband, Marc; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her nieces and nephews. 

A service celebrating Jean's life will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 2pm at May Memorial Baptist Church, Powhatan VA.  Interment private.
