Jean Kilby Herndon

HERNDON, Jean Kilby,87, of Goochland died February 7, 2021, with family by her side. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas T. Herndon, and parents, Elizabeth and Max Kilby; brother in law,Louie F. Herndon. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Herndon Marks; grandchildren, Joshua Thomas Marks (Ariel) and Brooke Marks Shannon (Michael); great-grandson, Max Shannon; brother-in-law, Horace L. Herndon (Mary Catherine); sister-in-law, Virginia H. Herndon; her adopted family, Tammy Jo Martin, Randy Myers, and their families; special family friend, Angela Goode-Minor; and many nieces and nephews and their families.  Jean was a lifelong member of Fine Creek Baptist Church, Powhatan, Va.   She was a friend to many and respected by all who knew her.  After family, Jean’s first love was giving to others.
