Jeremiah Lance "J.T." Tuttle

Jeremiah L. Tuttle (J.T.), of Powhatan, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 30, 2020. He is survived by his wife, Leona Hopper Tuttle; three children, Peyton (15), William (14), and Benjamin (10); parents, John and Margaret Tuttle of Powhatan; sister, Frayser of Nevada; as well as numerous extended family. Jeremiah was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Most of his nights and weekends were spent at the ball fields with his wife and children. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and much of his free time was spent outdoors. Along with watching his children play sports, teaching them to hunt and fish was one of his greatest joys in life. He was also an arborist who owned and operated Old Dominion Tree Company, LLC, along with his wife. He loved to laugh, had a heart for giving, and cherished the time spent with his immediate and extended family. He was loved by many and brought much joy and laughter to their lives. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed. A memorial service will be held in Jeremiah’s honor on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 11 a.m.; post-service reception immediately following.
