Jerry E. Palmer

Jerry E. Palmer, 74, of Powhatan, passed away April 6, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis H. Palmer; three children, Greg Palmer of Powhatan, Katherine Palmer of Penhook, Amy Tilman Ellett (Mike) of Powhatan; three siblings, June Riley (Charles) of Midland, Joyce Lugar of Richmond and Newton Palmer of Powhatan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe & Lena Palmer and one brother, Richard Palmer. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 to 11am in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan followed by a memorial service at 11am.
