John Samuel Gardner

John S. Gardner, of Powhatan, passed away peacefully March 3, 2019. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nancy B. Gardner; two children, Suzanne Gardner Cline (Aaron) of Powhatan, John Samuel Gardner, II "Sam" (Sue) of Hawaii; five grandchildren, Alexander Conrad Hull (Allison), Abigail Allyn (Christopher), Sara Caroline, Kelsey Madison (Miles), John Samuel, III.; one great granddaughter, Reagan Templeton. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 2245 Huguenot Trail, Powhatan. Interment church cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
