John Thomas Bondurant

John Thomas Bondurant, 83, passed peacefully at his home surrounded by family July 22. John is predeceased by his parents; Robert Jr. and Frances Bondurant, as well as his brother Frank Bondurant and sister Caroline Hultquist. He is survived by his wife; Rachel Bondurant, son David (Ellen) Bondurant, daughter Melissa (Colon) McArtan; Grandchildren Tracie (Alex) Robins, Jewel (Dan) Daab, Ryan McArtan, Jessica (Wyatt) Elliot; and Great Grandchildren Katie Brown, Peyton Daab, Lexie Robins, Autumn Robins, Aubree Bondurant, Chase Daab, Ava Robins, Oakley Elliott; and Cousins Tommy Bondurant and John Wayne Steinruck. A special acknowledgment to his sisters and brother's in-law Bonnie (Lynell) Hopper and Glenda (Ken) Wood. John loved spending time fishing on the beach and being at the beach, as well as working on his John Deere tractor in his garage and watching the NASCAR races every weekend.
A visitation will be held from 6PM-8PM at Bennett and Barden Funeral Home on Wednesday, July27 and a Grave side service will be held Thursday July 28 at the Amelia Veterans Cemetery at 10300 Pridesville Rd, Amelia, VA 23002. Online condolences may be made at Bennettbardenfh.com.
