Johnny Ho, beloved husband, stepfather, son, brother, and dear friend to many, passed away on September 19, 2024, while holding his wife’s hand after facing 9-months of cancer treatment.

Johnny was born on June 15, 1987, in Alexandria, Virginia to Darrin and Jenny Ho and was soon followed by the birth of his younger brother, Brian. He spent his childhood and adolescence in Fairfax Station, where many of his lifelong friendships and relationships were born. He relocated to Richmond to attend VCU where he majored in business and continued to reside after obtaining his degree. He became a business analyst for Visalia and was fortunate enough to work alongside his colleagues who became close friends. Johnny remained in Richmond until he relocated to Powhatan in 2022.

Johnny embraced life with an easy-going nature, receiving challenges with grace and humor. He was a natural at balancing many areas of life, from work, to relationships, to personal interests and hobbies. When he wasn’t working, he spent his time with friends and family, golfing, traveling, cooking, walking his Golden Retriever, Piper, and living a healthy lifestyle.

The impact that Johnny had on the people in his life is immeasurable. Known for his joyful and charismatic nature, Johnny brought laughter and humor to every gathering. He was deeply loyal to his loved ones, and consistently showed up for the people in his life. Approachable, kind, and considerate, his magnetic personality drew others to him, resulting in a circle of loved ones that only continued to grow. He was dedicated to nurturing and strengthening his relationships, especially when it came to his wife and stepsons. The love he shared with his wife was rich in friendship, dedication, and trust. He looked forward to building their family and watching his stepsons grow.

Johnny is survived by many that will keep his spirit and legacy alive, including his loving wife Amanda (34), step-sons Gavin (9) and Weston (7), his parents Darrin (65) and Jenny (64), brother Brian (35), Grandmother (93), as well as many loyal and loving friends.

Johnny's absence will be felt every day. He is deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
