Joseph Mendez

91, of Powhatan, formerly of Saratoga Springs, N.Y. passed away peacefully October 3, 2017. He is survived by his daughter, Dody Green (John) of Powhatan; twelve grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Joe was a WWII army veteran and was in the Battle of the Bulge. The family will receive friends Thursday (tonight) from 5 to 7 pm, with a wake at 6:30 p.m. in St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2480 Batterson Rd., Powhatan and where a funeral mass will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m.
