In Loving Memory of Juneen Denay Freele Talbott.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Juneen Denay Freele Talbott on March 22, 2025. She was a woman of extraordinary beauty-inside and out-whose kindness, love, and wisdom touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Born on May 31, 1943 in Reno, Nevada, Juneen was a woman of strength, grace, and unwavering compassion. She lived her life with an open heart, never judging, always embracing, and loving without limits.

Her warmth made everyone feel at home, and her patience and understanding made her a guiding light to those around her.

Above all, she was a devoted mother. Her children were the greatest joys of her life, and she poured her entire heart into ensuring they felt loved, supported, and cherished. There was nothing she wouldn't do for her family. Her love was selfless, her sacrifices immeasurable, and her presence irreplaceable.

Though she battled illness for several years, she kept her loving, sweet and cooperative disposition. Her spirit will forever be with us, in every act of kindness, in every loving embrace, and in the countless beautiful memories she created.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, William Reid Talbott. Her children, Michel Talbott (Tammy), Crystal Tate (Joe), Vincent Talbott, Tiffany Talbott (Rey Salmon), Justin Talbott (Sarah), Natika Smith (Nathan) and Preston Talbott.

17 grandchildren, Nikki Bonas (Alex), Monica Barth (Steve), Gabby Stanfield (Wade), Michael Robinson, Tondra Robinson, Danielle Robinson, Erika Tate, Karley Brown (Alec), Alexis Garnett, Addison and Ashton Salmon, Justin and Jordan Beck (Zack Cunningham), Austin and Brayden Talbott, Grace and Andrew Smith.

12 great grandchildren, Penelope, Pierson and Piper Bonas, Leo, Abel and Wren Barth, Zoey, Willow and Odin Stanfield, Draven Robinson and Demi Mullens and Levi Beck.

A celebration of Juneen Talbott's life in a casual visitation setting will be held on April 9, 2025 at Bennett & Barden Funeral Home in Powhatan, Va from 2-4pm and 6-8pm where we will gather to honor the beautiful soul she was and the love she gave so freely. The family is hoping you will bring along a special memory or story about Juneen that you can bring or write down while visiting so they can enjoy how she touched your life and bring them some comfort and a smile.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Dementia Society of America in her memory.

Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in knowing that love never dies-it lives on in the people she touched and the love she so freely gave. Rest peacefully, dearest Mom.

You will forever be in our hearts.
