Kathleen Morris Nickerson

Kathleen Morris Nickerson, 78, of Powhatan, daughter of the late Marjorie O'Connor and the late Robert Morris, passed away with her family at her side January 26, 2013. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years Dr. Richard Nickerson of Powhatan; her son, Scott Nickerson and wife, Diane and three grandchildren, Riley, Kelsey and Connor Nickerson all of Powhatan; her daughter Gaea Nickerson and three children, Caitlyn, Matthew and Megan of Powhatan; her son, Steven Nickerson and wife Michelle Nickerson and two children, Casey and Ryan of Greenlawn, NY; She will dearly be remembered for her free spiritedness, sense of humor and integrity. Kathleen leaves behind a legacy of inspiration, love and joy to her devoted family and friends. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 2 from 4-6pm at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rte.60), Powhatan.Funeral services will be private.
