Larry Wayne Painter, Sr.

Larry Wayne Painter, Sr, 77, of Powhatan, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. Born in Richmond, VA, he was the son of the late Frank Stuart Painter, Sr. and Vera Rivers Painter. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene Painter and William Painter. 

He is survived by his children, Sherry Howell and husband, Kenneth, of Laurens, SC, Vera Hobbs of Roanoke Rapids, NC, and Larry Painter, Jr, of Roanoke Rapids, NC. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Holloway; and brother, Stuart Painter.

A private graveside service will be held at Maury Cemetery, Richmond, VA.
