Laura Drucilla Stroud

Laura Drucilla Bevins Stroud "Dru", 74 of Powhatan, Virginia, departed this life of April 13, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.  Dru is preceded in death by her parents William LeRoy and Laura Bevins. 
She is survived by her loving husband, Durwood Stroud; devoted daughter, Tracy Allen (Rodney); son Brian Stroud; three grandchildren, Brandon Stroud, Gracie Allen, Reed Allen; sister Susan Terry; brother, Bill Bevins.
Dru was a woman of faith and compassion.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister and loved her family dearly.  Dru was a great friend and caretaker to many.  She was a Hospice volunteer for over thirty years and Hospice Coordinator for Victory Tabernacle.  She will be greatly missed, but we know she is with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  
The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 18, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home. A services will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Victory Tabernacle Church of God, 11700 Genito Rd. Midlothian, Virginia 23112.
