Lawrence Gerald Morrissey

Lawrence G. Morrissey, 81, of Powhatan, went to be with the Lord August 16, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Ann Morrissey; four children, Monica Morrissey McAfee (Michael) of North Carolina, Alison Rose Morrissey of Powhatan, Kevin Longlois-Morrissey (Marc), Erin Frances Morrissey all of North Carolina; one brother, James Morrissey of New Jersey; one sister, Marylin Morrissey of Florida; six grandchildren, Philip, Mary Cait, Sean, Aidan Nannery, Pierce and Lane Beach. The family will receive friends Thursday (today) from 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan.
