Lawrence A. Ricker, Jr.

Lawrence A. Ricker Jr. (aka Bobo, Butch, Goofy, Larry), passed away January 27 after a long illness. He is a retiree from Universal Leaf, President of the Richmond Alumni chapter of Phi Theta Pi fraternity, former member of the Richmond Shag Club, and former volunteer at Pocahontas Elementary School.  Larry was an avid golfer and loved rock, heavy metal, and some country music. He lived, laughed, and loved hard.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Ricker, his daughter Kari Forden, his grandson Aaron Forden all residents of Powhatan, his sister Robin (Bill) Dennis of South Carolina, his brother Kevin (Diane) Ricker of Chester Gap, Virginia, his cousin Debbi (R.H.) Cahill of Front Royal, Virginia, his sister-in-law Connie (Wayne) Barlow of York County, Virginia, and several nephews and a niece.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 2 at 5:30 with a service to follow at 6:30 at Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy., Powhatan, VA.
