Linda Mae Webber, 78, of Powhatan, passed away peacefully on Sunday March 3, 2024 at Saint Francis Hospital. Linda was born April 25, 1945 in Sikeston, Missouri, to the late Grover Cleveland Chandler and Virginia Maudell Jackman. She was educated at Saint Louis Public School in Missouri. Linda was a stay at home wife and mother, who loved to read, bird watch, fish, hunt, cook, garden and going camping and to the beach. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving and caring person. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and always thinking of others. To know her was to love her. Linda leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband, of 44 years, Robert Wendall Webber, Sr. (AKA Bobby); daughters, Tammy M Saunders (Mike), Angela Reck, Kersonda Brickhouse; step-son, Robert Wendall Webber Jr. (Tracie); step-daughter, Angela Landschoot; brother, Robbie Smithwick; sister, Brenda Bowman; 15 Grandchildren;
12 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends 2pm to 4pm Thursday, March 7, 2024, at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson HWY, Powhatan, where her service will be held 11am Friday. Interment will follow in Powhatan Community Cemetery.
