47 of Powhatan, born 6/23/1967 died 10/13/ 2014. Mary Ann is survived by her loving husband Richard L. Johnson, her children Thaila A. Johnson and Daniel M. Johnson, her mother Peggy Schmidt and her father-in-law Theodore S. Johnson. Mary Ann earned her AD and RN at John Tyler Community College and worked as a registered nurse, a database administrator, and proprietor and owner of an online store Nebuchandnezza. She was a talented woodworker and loved her family above all else. Mary Ann was a strong and gifted woman, able to do well anything she set her hand to. First and foremost she loved her family, more than life itself, sparing no effort to assure the well-being and happiness of her children and husband. She never sought praise or reward for the endless energy she expended making her world a better place for her having been there. She loved working and creating with wood, and in late years building, buying and selling Legos with her children and via her online business. Whether creating her children's lives, a beautiful treehouse, or a Lego cityscape, she lived to bring beauty into being. She will be forever loved and missed by her family, and by all those fortunate enough to have known her.
