Mary Hazel Reed

88, of Plant City Florida, formerly of Richmond, widow of Charles Reed, went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2014. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Judy, Brenda; grandson, Tracy; sisters Eva and Jean; brother, L.V. She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Sue Adcock (Bobby), Sandy Womack (Mac), Debbie Taylor (T.O.), Rose Bonton (Tony); seven grandchildren, Pam, Jeff, Chris, Cindy, Donna, Kelly, Shannon, Hunter; sixteen great grandchildren and her sister Chilcie. Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners and spending time with her family. She retired from The American Tobacco Company, and was known for being a hard working woman. The family will receive friends Monday from 11am to 1pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan, followed with a funeral service at 1pm. Interment Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
