Michael A. "Creeper" Kerns, 25, of Powhatan, passed away doing what he loved on July 22, 2017. He is survived by his mother, Donna (Bryan) Smith of Richmond; father, Jimmy (Amy) Kerns of Powhatan; brother, Chris Kerns (Kristina) of Midlothian; nephew, Baylor; maturnal grandmother, Carol (Jesse) Romer of Richmond; paturnal grandmother, Doris "Nanny" Kerns of Powhatan; paturnal grandfather, Barry "Pappy" Kerns of Richmond; step grandmother, Mary Francisco of Deltaville; uncle, Tommy (Heather) Kerns of Moseley; aunt, Beth (Scott) Jordan of Appomattox; step brothers, Barry, Stephen, Scott; step sister, Toni; his second parents, Jacques and Lisa Gits of Powhatan. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan and where services will be held Wednesday at 11 am.
