Michael Robert Cheney

Michael R. Cheney, 45 of Powhatan, passed away suddenly April 7, 2016. He is survived by his devoted wife of 20 years, Lisa; his parents, Bob & Edith Cheney; siblings, Charles, Douglas, Jon, Susan with many extended family and friends. Mike worked as an Assistant Manager for Virginia ABC and formerly as a cook for various restaurants around the area. We will miss him cheering on the Eagles, his passion for cooking, and his caring and loving personality. In his memory, his wife Lisa reminds all of us to love fiercely, to invite dogs to be some of your lifelong loyal friends, and to always take time for walks on the beach. A celebration of life will be held April 25, 2016 at 4 pm in the Cannon Chapel on the University of Richmond’s campus.
