Meade Jones

Meade Jones, 59, of Powhatan, went to be with the Lord Saturday, January 13, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mickey and Marsha Jones; sister, Virginia Hope Jones; brother, Joseph Weldon Jones. He is survived by his wife, Ronda Jones; children, Dakota Ashley Daves, Richard Meade Jones, Caroline Anne Beatley (William), niece, Rebecca Ann Litton King (Alex); grandchildren, Ella, Mason, Thomas, Walter, Zoey Daves, Liam Beatley; great-nephew, Weldon King and numerous other friends. Meade really enjoyed cooking for the family, hunting, fishing, beach time, and spending time with his loved ones. He never met a stranger, once he met you, you were family. The family will receive friends 5pm to 6pm Friday January 26, at Bennett & Barden Funeral home, where his service will follow at 6pm. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to your favorite National Park Service.
