Nancy Hubbard Ciejek

Nancy Hubbard Ciejek, 92 of Powhatan, passed away peacefully at home, December 8, 2022. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward "Eddie" Ciejek; son, James "Jimmy" Ciejek. She is survived by her three sons, Dean Ciejek (Janet), of Chesterfield, Clarence Hubbard (Donna), of Amelia, Gary Hubbard (Kerri) of Irvington, VA; one daughter Cheryl Esposito, of Powhatan; one daughter-in-law, Faye Ciejek of Powhatan; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. 

Nancy loved her family, painting, nature, flowers and gardening. She was a member of many local Garden Clubs.   

The family will receive friends Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, where services will be held Monday, December 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family suggests being kind, as she was, donating to Powhatan Fire & Rescue Company 2, Wounded Warriors Project, or a local charity of your choice.
